Have fun in Galveston this Spring Break
The month of March is typically the beginning of Spring for our area, but it also means the beginning of our Spring Break Season. For many families, this is the time to find fun, family friendly activities, while staying close to home. Galveston fits the bill. Being only 27 miles from League City, it makes it easy to take a day trip and explore all the fun activities Galveston has to offer. Galveston Beaches March is the month that we say good by to winter and hit the beach. With 32 miles of shoreline, there's something for every type of beach goer. Seawall beaches are open year round, but East beach and Stewart Beach will open on March 7, 2020. While visiting the beach parks, you can take advantage of beach chair rentals, volleyball courts, restrooms, showers,snack bars and other concessions.
